MEET THE CAST
Rodney Archie is a professional artist fresh from a european tour with the harlem gospel singers. He has been the minister of music at several churches. He has been singing and performing since was seven years old. A former member of the boys Choir of Harlem he has graced the stages of the Apollo theater and the Philharmonic Auditorium in Cologne Germany.
Dr. Ernie Wade speaks from experience. He honed his activism skills and knowledge while a student at Johnson C. Smith University. When he lived in Chicago, he was actively involved with Operation Breadbasket, led first by MLK Jr. and later by Reverend Jesse Jackson. He was able to see in clear terms how activism can work, as Operation Breadbasket successfully challenged the hiring practices of both the Pepsi and Coke companies, as well as the Chicago construction industry.
Dr. Ernie Wade speaks from experience. While a student at Johnson C Smith University he was involved in the movement to integrate the Woolworth lunch counters as well as the cafeterias in the Belk stores. He was also involved in OperationBreadbaske t in Chicago led first by MLK Jr, and then by Rev. Jesse Jackson.
Cam’Ron Amos is the company musician who has been playing since a very early age. He is the minister of music at churches in Winston Salem.
